Fibro Day

Well yesterday's dance over de-cluttering our master bathroom caught up with me today.
I have Fibromyalgia, a very unkind affliction that affects the pain sensors in the body, and also causes what is referred to as "fibro fog" which really means I do not have the ability to focus on anything.
Long story short when I over exert myself one day I find myself hurting pretty significantly the next, I say it this way because I am always hurting just its more tolerable some days than others.
Enough of the pity party, I move on right?...Right!!
I did manage to get the dishes caught up today and fix dinner for the hubby and youngest daughter and was pleased to hear hubby state while eating "this one is a keeper"
So today's ~Happy Dance~ is for the calzone I made for dinner, I will share my recipe on another post, I need to stop typing I am hitting the backspace more often than the letter keys...ahhh fibro fog.
Find a reason to dance today?
Blessings,

New Year, New Goals

I have been away from my blogging for entirely to long.
I am sitting here typing trying to find a good excuse to give but.....yeah don't have one.
Dang I really wish I had one.....but nope, nothing.
I'm setting a goal for myself to post on here everyday at least one thing that made me want to do the ~Happy Dance~
So I dedicate today's dance to de-cluttering the master bath, if you think this is not dance worthy I will give you a mental picture; 1-full laundry basket taken to the donation box, 3-bags of trash taken to the dumpster, and a trip to the recycling bins.
So yeah, today I choose to ~DANCE~
Blessings,

Reality.... as I know it

This is reality as I know it:
I work outside the home full time.
I have 2 amazing daughters, one just got married!! the other will be a Senior this year.
My husband also works full time outside the home.
We all reside with  our kitty cats and dogs.
Life is hectic to say the least, but it is real.
I began using coupons at the suggestion of a friend and co-worker, I am now officially obsessed and we have been saving on average 65% or more on our grocery bill every month.
I want to share with you how its done in the real world, not in a world of garages filled to the brink, or houses bursting at the seam.
We use coupons so that we have more breathing room between paychecks and the ability to put money back for those lovely unexpected expenses or better yet to reward ourselves for our hard work.
Join me on my journey.

You can lead a horse to water......

You all know the saying "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink"
I find this to be so true when it comes to using coupons and being vigilant about saving money.
I wish I had a dollar or better yet a coupon for every time I hear,
"I don't have time for coupons"
"I don't have patience for coupons"
"Coupons are such a hassle"
My favorite..."I really need to start doing that"
AkKkKK enough already!
Yes it takes time, and patience and oh it can be a hassle.
But like everything worth doing, it takes time and patience.
I feel that if saving money is important enough to a person they will make the time, I spend roughly 2 hours a week on clipping coupons, price matching and looking up deals online.
But between my man and I we spend 80+ hours a week making that money.
At Walmart alone this past weekend I saved $32.50 that my friends is more than I make in 2 hours of my work day.
If the money is worth making, in my mind its worth saving.
I end my rant with "GET STARTED ALREADY!!!"
